Our Founding Story

The Aquatech story started way back in 2002. At the time, our founder, Andrew Merrick, identified a market gap for innovative rain gutter services in San Diego.

Working in the industry, Andrew realized that he could set a new standard with rain gutters that protect homes, while also enhancing their curb appeal. He also knew best-in-class customer service would be a surefire way to build a dedicated client base.

Following his intuition, Andrew launched Aquatech Rain Gutters in January 2004. In just five years, Aquatech was completing over 600 installations annually, while also employing five full-time rain gutter experts.

Today, Aquatech is San Diego’s go-to rain gutter company. We offer the region’s largest selection of seamless gutter profiles, along with expert metal craftsmanship, design, installation, and maintenance.
